1. Who we are

Perinkle is a beauty and wellness platform for salon discovery and bookings, beauty product shopping, partner management, seller management, payments, delivery coordination, wallet/cashback, notifications, support, and related services.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

• Customers using the Perinkle customer app or website.
• Salon partners using the Perinkle Partner app or dashboard.
• Product sellers listing and selling products.
• Salon staff managed through a salon account.
• Visitors browsing Perinkle pages.
• Users contacting support or participating in offers.

It does not cover third-party websites, payment gateways, courier partners, Google, Firebase, Razorpay, Shiprocket, map providers, app stores, or external links, except where Perinkle receives data from or shares data with them for platform operations.

3. Personal data we collect

Customer data

• Name, email, phone number, profile photo, gender where provided.
• Login method, Google account basic profile where used, email login data, and phone OTP verification data.
• Delivery addresses, salon service address, pincode, city, state, country.
• Location data if permission is given, including approximate or precise location for nearby salons, delivery address, maps, and distance.
• Booking details, services selected, staff selected, date, time, salon, start/completion status, cancellation/reschedule history.
• Product cart, wishlist, orders, product reviews, ratings, coupons, cashback, wallet transactions.
• Payment status, payment reference ID, refund details, but not full card numbers.
• Device details, app version, IP address, device token, push notification token, crash/error logs, usage data.
• Support messages, complaints, reviews, screenshots, uploaded evidence, and communication preferences.

Salon partner data

• Salon owner name, salon name, email, phone, address, city, state, pincode, coordinates.
• Salon logo, gallery images, certificates, awards, staff details, service details, service prices, packages, slots, vacation mode, daily availability, open/closed days, and service timing.
• Bank details for withdrawal where provided.
• Booking history, earnings, wallet, commission, payout requests, customer reviews.
• OTP service start/completion records.
• Business registration, identity, GST, license, or verification documents where required.

Seller data

• Seller name, store name, owner name, email, phone, address, pincode, seller type.
• Product catalog data, product images, product variants, brand/category, inventory, prices.
• Order data, shipment data, pickup details, courier AWB/tracking data, return/refund data, and customer support records needed to complete seller orders.
• Bank details, payout details, commission, invoices, tax details, GST details, business documents, authenticity proof.
• Seller approval, rejection, moderation notes, dispute data.

Automatically collected data

• Device model, operating system, app version, language, country, network, IP address.
• App events such as screen views, clicks, errors, crashes, login events, booking attempts, checkout attempts, coupon use, order activity, and notification interactions.
• Cookies or similar technologies on the website.

4. How we use personal data

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Enable login, OTP verification, Google sign-in, password reset, and account security.
• Show nearby salons, services, products, offers, banners, and recommendations.
• Process salon bookings, reschedules, cancellations, start OTP, completion OTP, service status, and reviews.
• Process product cart, checkout, payment, order, shipment, return, refund, and reviews.
• Enable salon partners to manage services, staff, slots, bookings, wallet, payouts, and notifications.
• Enable sellers to manage products, inventory, orders, shipping, payouts, and seller profile.
• Process payments, wallet, cashback, refunds, commissions, and settlements.
• Send push notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp or transactional alerts where enabled.
• Send optional promotional offers, coupons, product deals, salon offers, and partner/seller updates where permitted.
• Prevent fraud, fake bookings, payment misuse, coupon abuse, account takeover, and unsafe activity.
• Provide support, resolve disputes, process complaints, and enforce platform policies.
• Improve app design, performance, reliability, analytics, and user experience.
• Comply with legal, tax, audit, security, law enforcement, and regulatory requirements.

5. Legal basis and consent

Where required under Indian law, Perinkle relies on notice and consent for collecting and using personal data. By using the app, creating an account, enabling permissions, placing orders, booking services, uploading documents, or contacting support, you consent to data processing for the purposes explained in this Policy.

Some processing may be necessary for performance of a contract or requested service, compliance with law, fraud prevention and platform security, payment/refund/delivery/support/dispute resolution, and legitimate platform operations where permitted.

You may withdraw optional permissions such as location, notifications, camera/photos, or files from device settings. Some features may not work without required permissions or data.

6. Location, payments, and platform permissions

Perinkle may use location data to show nearby salons, estimate distance and availability, convert selected addresses into coordinates, support service-at-home features, support delivery-related assistance, and improve map/search experience.

Perinkle does not use location permission for unrelated background tracking. You may disable location permission, but nearby salon listing, address detection, distance, and map features may be limited. You may manually enter address details where supported.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay or other providers. Perinkle may receive payment status, transaction ID, payment reference, amount, method, refund status, and failure reason. Perinkle does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, net banking password, or sensitive bank authentication credentials.

Wallet, cashback, coupon, refund, payout, commission, and settlement records may be stored by Perinkle where needed for platform operation, accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

7. Sharing of data

We may share necessary data with:

• Salons for bookings, service details, service address where applicable, OTP status, and customer name where needed.
• Sellers for product orders, shipping details, return handling, and customer support.
• Staff members for assigned bookings.
• Payment gateways for payment processing, refunds, fraud checks, and settlement.
• Delivery/logistics partners for shipment, pickup, delivery, tracking, and returns.
• Cloud hosting, database, analytics, crash reporting, maps, email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification, and support vendors.
• App stores and platform providers where required for app distribution, authentication, billing/payment compliance, security, diagnostics, or policy review.
• Professional advisers, auditors, legal advisers, tax consultants, and insurers.
• Government authorities, courts, law enforcement, or regulators where required by law.

Perinkle may limit or mask direct phone numbers where appropriate to protect privacy and prevent off-platform misuse.

8. Public and partner-visible information

• Salon profile, salon images, address area, rating, reviews, services, availability, and prices.
• Seller store profile, product listings, product ratings, and seller status.
• Customer reviews and ratings, subject to display rules.

Do not upload information you do not want visible in public or partner-facing areas.

9. Data retention and account deletion

We retain personal data as long as needed for account operation, bookings, orders, payments, refunds, returns, support, disputes, tax, accounting, audit, legal and regulatory records, fraud prevention, security, and platform improvement.

Users may request account deletion from the app, by contacting support, or by visiting https://www.perinkle.in/account-deletion/.

Where an account deletion request is accepted, Perinkle will delete or de-identify eligible personal data within a reasonable period, subject to records that must be retained for completed bookings, orders, payments, refunds, payouts, disputes, tax, legal, fraud prevention, regulatory requirements, and security. If some records must be kept, Perinkle will limit their use to the required purpose.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal and sensitive user data. These safeguards include HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, secure hosting practices, backups, limited admin access, role-based admin tools, server-side validation, and payment gateway integration.

No system is fully secure. Users should protect passwords, OTPs, devices, and email accounts. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately.

11. User rights

Subject to applicable Indian law and platform verification, users may request access to personal data, correction or update of inaccurate data, deletion of account or certain personal data, withdrawal of consent for optional processing, grievance redressal, and information about processing purposes and shared parties where required.

To make a request, contact privacy@perinkle.in or use in-app support. We may verify your identity before processing the request.

12. Children, marketing, cookies, and international processing

Perinkle is intended for account holders aged 18 and over. Persons under 18 must not create or operate a Perinkle customer, salon partner, seller, or staff account. An adult parent or legal guardian may use their own account to arrange an age-appropriate salon service for a minor where available and legally permitted.

Perinkle does not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through child-operated accounts. If we learn that a person under 18 created or operated an account, we may restrict or close the account and delete or de-identify eligible data, subject to transaction, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, and legal-retention requirements. A parent or guardian may contact privacy@perinkle.in regarding a minor's data.

We may send transactional notifications for OTP, bookings, orders, payments, refunds, delivery, support, and account security. We may send promotional offers, banners, or campaigns where permitted. Users can manage push notification permissions through app/device settings. Some transactional messages may still be necessary for service operation.

Perinkle does not sell personal data as a standalone product. We may show Perinkle marketplace offers, salon offers, product deals, coupons, featured listings, or service recommendations inside the platform.

The Perinkle website may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar tools to improve performance, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support security. Some service providers may process or store data outside India depending on hosting, analytics, maps, payment, cloud, or communication provider infrastructure.

13. Grievance redressal and changes

For privacy complaints or grievance redressal, contact the Perinkle Grievance Team at grievance@perinkle.in or support at support@perinkle.in. Please include your registered email/phone, booking/order ID if applicable, and a clear description of the issue.

Perinkle may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions may be posted in the app or website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
